Sir/Ma'm,

I would like to bring to your notice the blatant cheating and Fraud that Reliance Communications is doing with thousands of its customers including me.

I am a Postpaid Customer of Reliance and was using their Reliance 3 dongle based on CDMA. My plan was 40GB @Rs 999 unlimited. In May, we were intimated that the company is shutting down its CDMA operations and we would have to migrate to 4G. We were asked to get a 4G sim from the Reliance Store and to buy the new 4G Wipod online. We weren't paid any compensation for the old dongle which I had bought for Rs 800. Its now an e-waste. The company didn't buyback nor made any provision for it safe disposal.

I got the sim from Reliance store and bought the new 4G dongle for Rs 899 from their online store.

At the time of upgrade, all users of CDMA including mobile users were promised 10GB of 4G data upon the activation of 4G sim and services. We were also promised "No Change in Tariff of our existing plans" as lure to migrate us to 4G. The same promises were made by their Customer Care Executives, their Reliance Store Executive, Promotional Emails and Banners that were erected at shops.

The Internet CDMA services were shutdown on May 31st in UP West and for a period of one month we were kept in dark about the possible launch dates. I was also billed for the period when their Internet services were not working which I paid and was subsequently refunded after many calls begging them for Waiver in Bill.

After much delays and false promises the 4G services started in UPW circle on July 9th. I didn't get the 10GB 4G data but my plan was the same ie 40GB @Rs 999.

On 17th July that's 8 days since the 4G services started we get an email from Reliance telling us that our plan is being changed to 5GB@Rs1100 since this is the 'best selling plan". I called the Customer Care and he confirmed the same. He also told me that my old data that is 40GB has gone lapse and the plan has been discontinued. He also told me that Reliance withdrew the 10GB upgrade offer and I won't be getting it.

We were not intimated about the withdrawal of 10GB upgrade offer, further the false marketing of 'no change in existing tariff' is also the breaching the trust of customers who were lured to buy the new 4G sim and data card. I will now have to pay Rs 1100 for just 5GB on my next bill.

This is gross cheating and fraud by Reliance Communications with thousands and lakhs of its old loyal cdma and Datacard customers.

I feel cheated and would like to request strict action against such practices indulged in by RCOM. I also request that Reliance credit 10GB of promised 4G data for upgrading customers and to reinstate my old data plan that is 40GB@Rs999.

Please find pictures of all emails, SMS, banners that made the above mentioned promises to me attached and picture of latest email that changes my tariff plan.
