Complaint Details
Bank applied excess interest on account. On bringing it to their notice they agreed to correct the same. However after a long follow up they have now refused to correct the issue raised.
I would like to file a complaint under the following heads.
non-observance of Reserve Bank Directives on interest rates;
non-adherence to the provisions of the fair practices code for lenders as adopted by the bank or Code of Bank’s Commitment to Customers,
Financial lose incurred to customer due to wrong information given by bank official.

I have email confirmation and telephone recording of their assurance to correct the issue and then refusal to do so.
