Sub: Notice before filing consumer complaint.

Sir,

I had booked transportation of my Alto Car PB IIAX 0360 from Chandigarh to JSW Town Ship Toranagallu in Karnataka on 25.6.2016 vide GC No. 4490929 for Rs. 17,480/-. As per the booking receipt the car was to be delivered at the destination Point by 10/7/2016. It was assured that the car would be transported through transporter’s own cargo mover and they are the real Agarwal Packers & Movers who have achieved distinction of getting their name registered in Limca book of records. However, on the contrary following experience were encountered.
 No feed back was given despite continuous pursuation with the Co. marketing personnel, Mr. Pawan, about the Status of vehicle after handling over it on 25.6.2016 at Chandigarh. No tracking service was provided.
 The delivery was delayed over the scheduled date of delivery.
 The car was not delivered at the destination point but was left at the Maruti showroom., Belari about 35 km away from the delivery point.
 The driver Mr. Khan who delivered the vehicle at Belari & was holding mobile no. 9983065655 told that he is an employee of Maruti and not of Agarwal Packers & Movers and as per orders from his co., he is required to leave it at Maruti Showroom Belari as he has to proceed to Banglore and therefore cannot deliver the vehicle at JSW Township,Toranagallu.
 The odometer of vehicle at loading point was 10254 and at delivery point was 10305 but over 10 liters of petrol has been consumed, which is not justified as the average of vehicle is more than 20 Km./Litre
 I had agreed to pay Rs. 17480 despite other transporters offering this service at Rs. 12000 on assurance that it would be transported through Agarwal Packers & Movers own Cargo mover and it will be delivered at door point of the destination through driver as indicated in Goods Challan also.
 Due to non-delivery of vehicle at the destination point, I had to face lot of harassment, mental agony and had to incur extra expenditure in bringing it to the destination point.
I would therefore, request you to refund Rs.5000 alongwith interest @12% from 25.6.2016 to the date of actual refund of above amount with in 20 days of receipt of this letter, otherwise I will be compelled to move consumer Court against you.
