I got a plan activated on 26.2.16 whose terms were 120 GB bandwidth, speed of 8 Mbps and for a duration of 7 months (i.e uptill 26.9.16) from the date of activation (26 Feb 2016) for a total initial payment of Rs. 15,107.
My internet plan worked perfectly fine uptill the month of August and my complete bandwidth for the billing cycle 26.7.16 to 26.8.16 got finished on 5.8.16. According to the billing cycle I would get the next 120 GB on 12:00 A.M. 26.8.16.
After waiting so long from 5.8.16 till 25.8.16, I was finally excited that my internet speed would be restored back to 8 Mbps at 12:00 A.M. 26.8.16. To my dismay around 12:30 A.M. 26.8.16 I checked my internet speed and it came the same dismal 512 Kbps. I went to my airtel account to check my bandwidth and was greatly saddened to see that it showed 0 GB and said that i'll get 120 GB after another 30 days.
It wasn't possible to download so much data in such short time. Heck i didn't download a single Mb of data. I tried calling their customer care but it was just an automated machine talking and of no help. Everytime I tried receiving customer support for bandwidth all I heard a computer voice saying "You have 0 GB of data left and that you have consumed 121 GB uptill 26.8.16".
I'm deeply frustrated by all this. Who knows how much data Airtel scams out of so many customers. So many times it must go unnoticed. This is unprofessional service by a company with such vast resources and to whom I payed such exhorbitant sum for an assured quality service.
