Hi,

I have booked a hotel in Tamilnadu on 13th Sep 16 two rooms for two nights. Then I decided to cancel my booking as per cancellation policy printed in the yatra.com confimation voucher. However, I got error cancelling online using my account with yatra.com so I sent an email request to cancel the booking to yatra.com customer care on 13th Sep 16 late night. As per policy yatra.com should have cancelled the hotel booking taking one night charge and refund the send night charge.

However, rather that performing the cancellation yatra.com is asking me to contact the hotel for the refund and they will not refund my money. The cancellation policy is clearly written as follows in the yatra.com voucher

Cancellation Policy
First night cost (including taxes & service charge) will be charged if you cancel this booking. You might be
charged upto the full cost of stay (including taxes & service charge) if you do not check-in to the hotel.

yatra.com is saying that i don't understand the policy statement above. According to them no refund will be provided.

I am feeling that yatra.com is completely cheating my money and not abiding to their cancellation policy.
