Complaint Details
I had called ICICI bank customer service as i had deposited cheque in to my account twice on 15th Sept 2016 asking for the details of the cheque clearance both the times i was assured that the cheque has cleared and it is in your floating balance which will be cleared by 16th September. Forst call made in the afternoon and second in the evening both officer gave the same confirmation that the cheque has cleared the other party and in your floating balnace i asked the same more than 5 times for both the advisor and they assured me the same dont worry we give you the confirmation.
The person who owed me money at that time was in india and his passport and tickets where with me now after there confirmation and assurance i returned the passport and tickets for this person and now he left india. On q6th when i called bank said that the cheque has bounced. This money was towards my loan amount which was payable by me and now hdfc is after me and coming home everyday for the amount and i dont have the money i am in a situation that no one is helping me i am going through a mental trauma of how to arrange money and icici is not ready to take this responsiblity saying we have given feedback to the advisors i am suffering mental trauma and physical stress not able to focus on work ormy family life i really need your help i have attached the email from the bank for your refrence please help me
