Complaint Details
I had purchased four air e tickets through goibibo from Mumbai to Chennai for me and family consisting of my wife and two sons for 16th October 2016 vide ticket no.'s 589-9166645716,717,718 and 719 and the scheduled departure of the flight mentioned on the e ticket was 02.55 but when we reached Mumbai airport on 16th October at 12.00 noon we were informed that the Jet airways flight no.9W463 had already departed in the early morning at 2.55 AM. As a common layman who has not travelled much in flights,in view of the fact that the time mentioned in the ticket was 02.55 (without mentioning AM or PM)I had presumed that the flight would be in the afternoon.I had to spend another Rupees fifty thousand from my pocket to book tickets to Chennai for my entire family on Spice Jet flight due to the emergency situation.It is requested that M/s. Goibibo may kindly be instructed to refund to me cost of return fare for 4 persons from Mumbai to Chennai and also the additional cost of Rs. 50,000/- incurred by me for booking alternate tickets on SpiceJet airlines from Mumbai to Chennai on 16/10/2016.
