Complaint Details
Dear Sir/Madam,

I recently purchased a product from Amazon. Product dimensions were mentioned incorrectly on Amazon page. Product dimensions were one of very major factor that I opted for this device.

When I received it I found it bigger than the promised dimension so then I compared the dimension on Amazon India page and company of the product official website and found the considerable difference between those two.

Screenshot are attached which shows the considerable difference between the two highlight the mistake and negligence clearly on the part of Amazon India.

After that I contacted Amazon customer care through multiple channels (On call, email, social networking sites) but they are saying that I should go to Motorola service center and get a job sheet then only they will initiate the refund process. I want to ask why the customer should SUFFER because of NEGLIGENCE of Amazon in mentioning the correct dimensions of product ?

By your intervention, I am hoping for the below,

1. Complete refund of the cost and Amazon should accept its mistake gracefully and initiate the refund process and do the efforts from its side to get the product back and customer shouldn't suffer for this and consumer shouldn't be troubled for it.

2. I booked the mobile on EMI so even if Amazon India refunds my amount then also concerned bank will charge the interest money and applicable fees for converting the purchase to EMI. So I want Amazon India sync up with the concerned bank and pay the extra amount to the concerned bank.

3. I needed the product urgently for my job and family needs and for the same reason I booked it urgent same day delivery and paid extra money for the urgent delivery so I want adequate compensation for that as it considerably affected my performance in my office, peace in my daily and my family life.

4. I tried to reach Amazon India by multiple channels but due to its apathy I didn't get any positive response for that. I lost my peace of mind just because I kept reaching Amazon India through multiple channels and requesting them to accept its mistakes but all in vein. I request adequate compensation for it.
