Complaint Details
I had ordered a cake for a friend's birthday on 16th October 2016 so that it could be delivered on 18th Oct, i.e. on his b'day. It was meant as a surprise gift for him. To my dismay, I received an email on 18th noon (On the supposed date of delivery) saying that they wouldn't be able to deliver the cake on that day. Also they asked me to pay an extra 300 Rupees if I wanted to deliver it on the next day! I had already paid them Rs 634 including the delivery charges! There wasn't even an option for refund. Their slow communication skills totally ruined the day. Since there weren't much options left, I paid that extra 300 bucks asking them to deliver it as soon as possible. They did deliver it, but, as slow as possible. My friend received the cake around 7 pm on the next day. One day after his b'day! And the most irritating part was the quality of the cake! After paying close to Rs 1000 and a one day delay, the cake wasn't of good quality. One could have easily bought the same at Rs 300 from bakery! I demand a refund as I feel that I've been cheated by the company.
