Complaint Details
I have not yet received my Income Tax Return (ITR) for the year 2007-2008, I have filed numerous complaints and sent the Income Tax officials a lot of letters, speed-posts, and telephonic conversation with the concerned officials, to get back my IT refund money. I also visited the Guwahati Income Tax office 2 times a row, where I was told I'll be send the cheque of my return amount, they had sent the cheque to my previous mentioned address but due to shortfall of documents, the cheque could not be delivered. After that, I have sent them the new correspondence address along with all other required details, wrote them letters with all previous receipts and IT documents too, but I have not yet received the cheque till now. I have also updated them with my current permanent address and other contact details but the officials have not contacted me. I have been writing letters to the Chief Commissioner of the Income Tax Department and other concerned officers of IT Department, Guwahati Ward number-1, every year with reference numbers and other relevant documents, but I have not received any replies from the officials. Please help me.
