I bought a 12in macbook (2016) model 3 months back and suddenly i was facing problem with the display on my macbook. There was one white line appeared from left side internally on the display. First i restarted my macbook but nothing happened so i called apple helpline number and they told me that this problem is coming in macbook and if there is no sign of drop or dents on macbook , they will replace it under warranty. My macbook has not even a single scratch and is as new as it was on the first day . Next day i went to service centre and showed them my macbook and just by looking at it for 20 seconds they told me that they cant covered it under warranty as this product is damaged by me . They asked me to pay 1250₹ for service charge to put it under diagnostics and without even analysing it properly they claimed it to be out of warranty and asked me 48000 for screen replacement. At that time i was so socked and I argued with them as the product was under warranty and how they can claim without even properly analysing the product , so the technician over there said that even if there are 50% chances of your product to be replaced under warranty he wont let that happen . At that time i contacted apple support and they assured me that they will provide me with best possible solution so I gave my macbook at service centre as guided by apple senior advisor and after 10 days apple senior advisor said that we will go according to what service centre says and that cant be covered . Same problem came with many people but apple is not helping customers and just blaming customers. I was saving for this laptop from last 2 years and now after 3 months they are again asking for 48000 rs. Very poor service from apple
