I have bought in good faith a Nikon P900 camera from Amazon. since i buy from Amazon regularly and had not any prior bad experience, i bought the camera without checking the price from other sources. also, this camera is not widely available. When the package was delivered i found that the mrp quoted in the box [it was a sealed box], the mrp mentioned inclusive of all taxes was inr 29,950/- whereas i have been charged inr 31,000/- plus delivery charges [invoice available which is scanned]. i also matched the serial number of the product in the invoice with the tag mentioned in the package and it matched. i took this up with amazon customer care and they were not ready to refund the excess charged and gave various reasons such as the mrp would have changed and its not their policy to give any refund. i have also complained in their twitter page as well as to the twitter handle of Jeff Bezos who is the worldwide owner of this company. the reply i received from the company when i told that i will this take this up with consumer court is that you may choose to do so, which i felt was an arrognt reply despite violating law.
