Hello,

This is regarding the latest Car Insurance policy I purchased from HDFC ERGO. I took this policy online and Paid the premium for the IDV value i.e. 324774/-.
However when I received the soft copy of policy through email after payment, I saw IDV value got reduced to 254169/-. I immediately noticed the difference in the IDV value and called the sales represntative( Sultana Khan) but she didn't respond. I then called up customer care and reported the issue within 15 mins of purchasing this policy. As per representative Mr. Praveen I emailed the details and summarized the issue and requested to modify the IDV as promised and selected on the portal before payment done. He politely listened to my issue and said this will take few days as we will follow up with the concern team to get the details.

I also shared the details of fraud that I later suspected done intentionally by the represntative Sultana. I request to verify the recorded discussion to know the truth and the tricks done by represntative in background to reduce the IDV.

However, Later on HDFC ERGO simply declined any alteration in the IDV from their end and said nothing can be done.
I asked them to cancel the policy and refund the amount I paid so that I can go to other insurance provider and get the greater IDV but they said there will be deduction in the premium on the prorated basis.
As I repoted the issue immediately within 15 mins of the policy purchase, I asked them to refund my full money.

I am atatching all the documents including policy, communication email having IDV value of 324772 before payment and issue I raised with care@hdfcergo.com.

Please help me in either get the promised IDV value 324772 or refund of full premium I paid so that I can opt for other policy.
