Complaint Details
This is to bring to the kind notice of the concerned authority that I am watching Tata Sky since a long back. As per their provision, if any subscriber proceeds on leave, or leave the H/Q for a certain period following after suspension of viewing, the benefit of suspension would be added in the next time recharge. Suppose, a subscriber's due date of recharge is on 6th Jan, 16, he/she will automatically get the benefit of suspension and accordingly his/her next date of recharge would be deferred following after expiry of 15 days. I was out of my H/Q from 2nd Nov to 13th Nov, 2016. Before I proceed, it was requested to suspend the viewing of Tata Sky from 02/11 to 13.11.16 and the benefit of suspension may also be added during the next recharge. My due date of recharge @Rs.550/- p/m was scheduled on 20.11.2016. Tata Sky, despite prior intimation were repeatedly messaging to my mobile to recharge on 20.11.2016. I objected and mailed them for a number times with the request to extend the benefit of suspension, consequent upon which it will stand on or after 2nd Dec, 2016. But, instead of mail writing reply, Tata Sky were preferring to intimate over Phone/Mobile that "BENEFIT OF SUSPENSION CAN BE AVAILED ONCE IN 365 DAYS ONLY". I further wrote them in this context kindly send a mail reply, but not telephonic call & intimation thereof, so that I may satisfy myself. But despite several mails, Tata Sky remained silent rather enforcing me to recharge within 20.11.2016 to avoid any DEACTIVATION. The attached mails will genuinely establish their arbitrariness. It is thus approached that Consumer Forum may kindly intervene in this context and if admissible, the benefit of suspension may be added during the date & time of next recharge. It is needless to mention that despite my several mails, I have been compelled to recharge on 20.11.2016 to avoid any unbecoming deactivation. Appropriate JUSTICE is soliciting.
