Complaint Details
I saw the Airtel broadband advertisement boards which advertise 8 Mbps speed plan for Rs.1299. On calling the sales executive for a new connection, he did not provide clear details or the detailed tariff details about the plan speeds. I got a connection by paying Rs. 1000 immediately and the connection installation was done within the next 1 day.

On checking the speeds, I was told that Airtel can only give me 4 Mbps speed for the same cost. This was never revealed at any time before the activation of connection.

The Airtel team is now providing a non-committal promise that they will upgrade the speeds in 1 month and are asking me to cancel the connection if I don't want that.

Airtel has used deceptive advertising to defraud me. Please do the needful to resolve this issue.
