Complaint Details
I Hiranna Fulari aged 22 years , son of Shri Dharmanna Fulari state that–
I, Hiranna Fulari, had purchased a Mobile vide Bill no. 5524 dt. 27.0.2016 from OP 1 for Rs. 22,000/- through Bajaj Finserve (OP2) EMI Card.
Bajaj Finserve EMI Card has tie up arrangement with for acceptance of their card. This is basically a network of shops accepting the Bajaj Finserve card from customers who owns it after becoming members of . This way Shops increase the sale of their products and customers owning the cards, get EMI arrangement from Bajaj finserv.
I received a call from bajaj finserv whether to have an Insurance for the mobile which I agreed. Bajaj finserv charged me Rs. 2299 towards the Insurance of Mobile which was provided to me by CPP INDIA through mail dt-22.10.2016 , Insurance Policy No-IM0144454 dt- 03.10.2016.
I lost the Mobile on 29.11.16 for which I made Police Complaint no.5816 dt. 29.11.16
I made an Insurance claim on 6.12.16 and sent all Original Mobile Purchase Bill, letter of Subrogation and Police complaint along with the Claim form to CPP INDIA
On 24.12.16 CPP INDIA called up and informed that insurance claim
Cannot be passed as they have the Bill Copy with different IMEI number . This wrong bill was sent by Arihant Infocom to Bajaj finserv for the payment purpose. So Bajaj finserv who involved CPP INDIA for the Insurance had the wrong records.
Due to wrong records with Bajaj finserv and CPP INDIA, they refused to process the Insurance claim. I wrote various letter regarding none of the fault of mine but none of the OP is replying me.
ARIHANT INFOCOM has wrongly put the IMEI number in their Bill no. 5548 dt. 04.07.16 which they gave to BAJAJ FINSERV while my original bill is Bill No. 5524 dt. 27.6.2016 . It is not my fault and it is the arrangement between ARIHANT INFOCOME,BAJAJ FINSERV and CPP INDIA. They messed up their internal documents and I am suffering as they are not clearing my Insurance claim.
This is a mental harassment, deficiency of services by ARIHANT INFOCOM, BAJAJ FINSERV and CPP INDIA. I am approaching Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum for compensation and replacement of the Mobile by a new handset model costing equivalent to the price I have paid
