I refurbished my house in 2013 and for modular kitchen I went for an Indian Brand Godrej, even though it was expensive . I believed the sales pitch that they had a support system . Since a Kitchen is a long term use item, I went for it, spending almost twice of a local brand. However the rude awakening came when I needed service. The dealer from whom I bought refused saying, it is not his responsibility . The Sales person suggested I buy a whole unit, but never replied, on the issue of support even if I bought a new unit.
This incident occurred in July 2016. I finally managed to get an email id of the company and mailed them in October 2016.They responded and sent me a quote in November asking for advance payment.
When queried about the availability, there was no reply.
Wary of the past experience I told them I will pay whatever the charges after the work is done
After several exchange of mails, a person did turn up on 18 January 2017 ( after 4 months) to inform us the the parts ordered from Mumbai are wrong & he will get back with the correct ones, Promptly on the same day I received an SMS informing me of successful closure of my complaint.
Taken aback at this I contacted the call centre, who informed that as per their records the required parts have been changed. I have written a email once again to the company, and received a same ambiguous reply, as they have ordered the parts.
Can Anyone guide me about the legal process of the consumer court as I have communicated enough with the company with no outcome
