Sir,
On 14 February 2017,I activated my new Savings account from my nearest SBI branch, SBI station Road, Halisahar with Bank code 12463.After all formalities my passbook was handed over to me but I was told that I would receive my Cheque book and Debit card within 10 working days. But when, even after 10 days I didn't get my card and cheque book, I called SBI customer care and was shocked to hear that no details of my debit card application was sent to SBI by the bank branch. I visited my branch again and complained about the same, they told me to submit another application which I did. But, today it has been more than 40 days and I have not received my debit card and cheque book. I called SBI customer again and was again told that not details of my application has reached SBI office, I have attached a copy of the recording that I did during the call. This is very irritating, please see to it ASAP. I have attached a snapshot of my bank passbook for further reference.
