I bought a IFB INDUSTRIES make TL-RDS 6.5KG. AQUA model Washing Machine on 10 August 2016 from IFB's local dealer NEXT, Opp: Himalaya Mall, Drive-in Road, Ahmedabad at a cost of Rs. 18,990 vide Proforma Invoice No. 4337203665 dated 10 August 2016. in my son's name, Sujit Nair.

The Machine is sub-standard and it does not wash the clothes. Instead, it only soaks the clothes. No fabric get washed. Several visits by IFB's technicians could not solve the issue. In stead they recommend different source of water, different washing power, etc. As a matter of fact they have used my house as their R&D Centre to improve their knowledge of the product! You put a white cloth for wash and the washed cloth will carry dirt stuck throughout and while fabric becoming off-white. I have used other brands like Videocon and Whirlpool for two/three decades without even one complaint.

Under the circumstances, it is my legitimate demand that the unit be taken back and the amount paid be refunded so that I can buy a real WASHING MACHINE (and not a soaking machine like IFB product). As a compromise, I might agree a replacement of the unit and nothing less.

Through this communication, I am expecting the CFBP to register my compliant and proceed against IFB Industries.
