Malpractices by Jet Airways to mint money by way of Fare Lock Booking which is completely mindless and confusing for online buyers. - My Booking Reference GUVKUG
The fare lock is the option given when tickets are being booked and at the last pages of their Ticket booking application in Apple iPad and just before the payment page. I n my case I wanted to make the payment immediately to book the tickets but at the last lag this came as a condition which needed a tick or " back" option and I had to tick to go ahead since I had not experienced this aspect in the morning today when I had booked one more return ticket for may 17 from a laptop. To my surprise I found only Rs. 350 was deducted from my credit card. I immediately spoke to a call center officer who was blunt enough to say that the money can not be refunded. This was escalated to Mr. Shiv at 9. 20 pm at your call center and I again explained him the issues faced by me while booking tickets from iPad. I also told him that your iPad app was also not allowing me to make the payment to book tickets thereafter with this below PNR. I tried thrice but in vain since the "make payment" option was missing in the iPad app . Finally I had to do it from my Iphone. As concerned to the refund Mr. Shiv said can't help and I need to write to you for refund.
these kind of malpractices to earn more from passengers by a so called reputed and preferred airlines is not acceptable neither as a passenger nor as a share holder. I got a reply by email that the money can not be refunded. I had to Escalate the matter to the Chairman but no reply from him aswell. I have wasted a lot of time energy and mind for this small refund and now I need a compensation for this mental agony any pain. Hope I will soon get my refund of Rs.350 along with suitable monetary or non monetary compensation for no fault of mine but for this mental agony. As a common man and as a responsible citizen I will not allow corporates to exploit people in this manner and will escalate the matter to the Aviation Ministry and PMO if things are not corrected.
