I had an issue with my phone battery, so I approached Microsoft service centre and their online customer support partner b2x. I was told by the authorised personnel to buy a battery from a local vendor because Microsoft had stopped supporting or providing hardware replacements. My phone was under warranty and I was also willing to pay for the battery.
This is not just my case, many other customers are also facing similar issues because Microsoft had stopped the production and support of the mobile division. I think, I have purchased a device from an authorised partner by legitimate means so Microsoft cannot abandon their existing customers and it they should be obligated to serve us.
