Complaint Details
HDFC has sanctioned the car loan applied but are using unfair trade practices like: (1) Asking me to sign in BLANK ROC forms (Forms 26,29,30,34,35) without any explanation or purpose (2) Asking for 2 cheques of Rs.75,651 and another for Rs.2,26, 953: Undated and without any named party.(3) If I do not comply with the above two requests, HDFC has stated that the sanctioned loan will NOT be disbursed! (4) REFUSING to provide any explanation in writing on why and on the legalities of points 1 and 2. (5) Stating now that if we do not take vehicle insurance through HDFC, the interest rate will be hiked. This was not communicated in the proposal.
(6) I have already lost money due to the delay as the insurance amount has been increased from the 01 April and now I shall lose the dealer discount offer (Rs.10,000) (7) I complained to HDFC vide email and got a ticket registered. However, today, received a message that the issue is resolved.
