Complaint Details
I have purchased a Moto G3 mobile from Snapdeal for 10,294/- on 15th May 2017. Product was delivered on 17th May 2017. When I checked the mobile it was not functioning properly and they have sent a damaged product. I placed a replacement order on the same day.They asked me to go to the service center to confirm that the product was damaged and asked for a report from the Moto service center.On 18th evening I have uploaded the report from the Moto service center. Snapdeal said that the product will be replaced. But,on 20th May Snapdeal said that we cannot replace your item and we will refund the amount. They have converted the replacement order to refund without my consent. Also they have not initiated the refund even after they have got the mobile from my side. Now I have purchased the mobile from a different site at a higher price of 12,999/-. I want a justification as to how they converted the order without my consent. They failed to provide a product which was shown in their website. My money is locked with snapdeal from 15th of May. They are not even ready to take my calls as they have blocked my calls. I request for the refund amount of 10,294/- as mentioned in the Invoice and also compensation for harrassing me without giving me an access to customer service. And they asked me to repair the mobile and use it. This site must be closed not customer friendly. I have attached the copy of invoice and the damage report of the phone from Moto service center.
