Complaint Details
This is second time I am trying to raise CCRC complain for Uber charge. No response yet on first request filed earlier 0088676/2017.

On Jan 13th 2017 via Uber App I charged my wallet ( paytm wallet
associated with mobile number 9619205559 and email maheshm@gmail.com)
using my credit card number 414767XXXXXX8191

The Uber App credited money to wrong mobile number some Mahesh Goud
(9676843073) in Hyderabad as he was using my email address. Uber did
not verify email address before allowing him to use the same.

Paytm has refused to refund indicating it is UBer's error after
multiple followups. Here is the complete log of followups.

The person (Mahesh Goud) who got the money has refused to pay so far
after multiple followups. He is simply refusing to pay.

I have previously provided Uber credit card statements. There have
been no refund from the bank.

Please note this is Uber App that has caused the issue so I would like
Uber to refund me the money 500 with interest.

Uber had someone else's phone number associated with my email address
so Uber should refund money credited to someone else.

Till date since this transaction I have stopped using Paytm and Uber.
I would like to continue using Uber if this issue is resolved and
amount credited with interest.

Raised issue with UBer: Reference number 21779812

Raised issue with Paytm: Paytm order ID: e6e936f185c0401ba35d5018480188fd

Feb 14 - (and also at least once before) deleted Paytm from phone and
readded as instructed by Paytm

Feb 17 - shared screenshots of accounts with Uber

Mar 17 - as requested by Paytm two complete statements provided to
show that credit card company has not refunded

March 24th. Again clarified to Paytm that the account where money was
sent to was someone else's. Sent email to Uber on latest case opened
with them asking to settle.

Mar 21 - Uber said I have to settle with Paytm.

March 24, March 22, March 16th. - Tried contacting Mahesh Goud. No
response to calls or SMS or whataspp. Initially Mr Mahesh Goud said
he will settle the claim but then never answered calls or SMS. On
MArch 24th sent SMS to refund money within 2 days to Mahesh Goud. Sent
him my paytm number as well. No refund so far.

March 24th. Paytm asked to settle with Uber. Looped both of them in on
the same email.

Apr 28 - Sent Bank details to Mahesh Goud. He says he will transfer by tomorrow

May 30 - sent fresh request to Uber
