Complaint Details
This is regarding the complete payment made for the Ford Ecosport on Apr 26th. The car that was to be delivered to us was a used showroom event display car and was not a brand new model as promised. Hence we had asked for a cheque payment to be stopped. But the dealer Sales Manager still proceeded with the cheque processing instead of canceling it. The next day the bank also told me that the cheque was encashed immediately previous day. We were promised to get a refund by May 10, 2017 by this sales manager. However on May 10th, she asked us to follow up with the CFO who did not respond at all. On meeting the CEO we were told that the Lathangi for operations were stopped by Ford india in Feb/Mar and they have a cash crunch due to which they are not able to refund. We escalated the matter to ford india and ford india has done nothing about this fraud till date. The showroom as of today cannot deliver car and has no cars also. Jun 30 this dealer will be taken over. A post dated cheque for jun 30 is handed over to us by the director. However no one will be available after jun 30 in case the cheque bounces.
