My jet airways flight 9W233 departed Toronto on scheduled time (EST) on 19.00 hrs 14th May 2017 and arrived on scheduled time in Amsterdam 07.55 hrs (local time) on 15th May. When we reached Amsterdam we were told flight 9W231 would be delayed by an hour.

However, later we were informed flight would be delayed by 3 hours instead!! However, in the afternoon we were informed flight will leave next day now and Jet airways would arrange for Visa, hotel accommodation, hotel transfer and entire expense of one day stay in Amsterdam.

However, I was not provided hotel accomodation. Isn’t it the responsibility of Jet airways to arrange for more rooms and accommodation??

I was too tired to stand and decided to sleep on floor. However, before I could fall asleep, the airport security humiliated me and got me up and going. I want you to imagine my situation. Was’nt it your responsibility to arrange travel in alternate flight? If not available, atleast should have arranged hotel for all passengers.

Somehow I got through the night. I boarded the flight in morning and reached Mumbai in evening. Needless to say, I missed my train to my hometown. With holiday season in India, finding an urgent train reservation isn’t easy. I had to stay back in Mumbai. Not only me but my family in Toronto and India are mentally traumatised because of this experience.

Under EU guidelines, I am eligible for 600 Euro compensation (see attached PDF) . Also this is official link to it.

Please compensate for the 21 hours delay and traumatising experience that I had to go through.
