Complaint Details
I had a Tikona broadband connection. Billing cycle for the same was 15th day of the month to 15th day of the next month. This was taken in advance when the month started. I paid my last payment for 15th Dec till 15th of January on 31st dec 2016.
I wanted to discontinue the service because of many issues. I called the customer care during this month many times and informed them about the same. My last service access was on 7th january 2017, after that I started using my new internet connection from other service provider. Despite many request for closing the account their representatives were asking me to keep this connection on standby wherin I will be charged very nominal rental. I refused the offer every time and repeatedly asked them about update on account closing process. Now after 6-7 months the company is still raising bills saying that there was service usage from my side.
