Complaint Details
I was travelling outside of India for Business meetings and asked Vodafone to activate international roaming so that I can receive sms for OTPs of bank transactions and other things which are dependent on mobile number. Its already 3 weeks I have raised the request and have not got any international roaming activated. Contacted to Vodafone support and they asked me to wait for 4 hours and it will get activated. But its 2 weeks and no service has been activated. Again contacted those guys and got no results. Because of this i failed to make transactions which I had to do by 1st August resulting loss of money, extra taxes, penality fees and add up more because of delay in payments. Also, not able to transfer to family as well. They charged me the amount for activation of international roaming and also sent it in the bill. I still have to stay outside of India for 1 week more from now and not able to use my number.
