Complaint Details
I am writing this email in regards to the Samsung MS23F301TAK/TL 23-Litre Solo Microwave Oven (Black) I bought on 02/03/2017 via Amazon. Since day 1 this microwave is causing a lot of inconvenience, it takes ages to cool down. We have lodged complains several times and even after 4 or 5 visits from a technician/engineer, this problem still exists.
I strongly believe that this is a faulty product because I don’t see any reason for this microwave to take 15-20 mins to cool down all time and hence I don’t want to send this product to the Samsung shop for repair. I have completely lost my faith on this particular Samsung Microwave product now, I request to deliver a higher/upgraded version of Samsung Microwave to compensate the inconvenience I encountered or to credit the full cost in my bank account.
I contacted Samsung last month on 18/07/2017 and it’s been almost a month now but only correspondence I received from them is that they have transferred my case to their so-called senior team and every time since then I tried to contact them via email, but they ignored my emails and never received any response.
This is a very - very poor customer service and because I live in Australia from last 11 years so I am not used to of this type of extremely poor customer service. I can see the difference between international and Indian customer service standards. I was not expecting this from Samsung as I believe Samsung is a big brand name globally.
I bought this product on my last visit to India and gift it to my brother but I am very frustrated now with their customer service even though the product is within 1 year warranty. This type of behavior from Indian companies makes me piss off.
FYI – I bought a fitbit from Australia and physically damaged the screen and when I went to the retail shop they refunded my money with 1 minute, this is the difference between Indian and international customer service standards. India is still 100 years behind in customer service, I am feeling like I am getting harassed by Samsung.
The reference no I was provided by Samsung is 3718571334.
