I received a call from one of Idea Agency to convert my prepaid connection to postpaid as they offered me a platinum account as i am associated with Idea for a long time. I was informed that I could avail a Rs. 349 Unlimited Plan. I asked them if the Taxes are inclusive of the amount mentioned above. The Agent said that the amount if inclusive of taxes and there will be no additional charge on which i agreed to get my number converted to postpaid. Upon verification and activation of the number I was later told by the activation team that i will be charged 18% tax on Rs.349. Secondly, I was told that I would receive 1GB Data per day which makes it 30GB per month. Which is directly a misleading information given at the first point of contact.
I have given mail complaints to Idea but they have not given any solution. Everyone at idea is providing different solution. My Idea account number is 9921998891.
