Complaint Details
I had returned on 2.9.17 to Mumbai. I was to receive my suitcase at Mumbai directly, however on reaching I was informed by the Jet Airways officials that the bags are in Abu Dhabi and would be returned to us by Sunday 12 noon. However I received the bag only at 6 pm on Sunday that too in a damaged condition. The lock has been broken (not returned), the zips have been broken, and there is also a dent and crack on the corner of the suitcase. I have called several times on the contact numbers provided on the website, however the calls are being continuously put on hold and no one is responding to my calls. I have sent an email to mhb@jetairways.com on 3.9.17 itself (along with photos) - ReferenceID=010-809-436 - requesting for compensation for delay and dammage to my suitcase. The person in charge - Ms Arti takes 3-4 days everytime to reply and has informed that compensation will be possible only for Rs 250. This is just not acceptable since the bag cannot be used anymore. I wish that the corrcet amount be compensated or the bag can be replaced / repaired at Jet Airways cost. Pls help me out with this
