Complaint Details
1. I Purchased one LG Refrigerator & one IFB Washing Machine from the Trader Tarang, Arera Colony Bhopal, for a consideration of Rs. 67500/- of which was charged for the LG refrigerator G 1478YSX4 wide traders invoice no.TAR-2570 Dtd. 30-10-2011 the payment was made by cheque no. 529920 dtd. 20-10-2011 drawn on Bank of Baroda, Bhopal (M.P.) the refrigerator was offered for five year warranty passed in October 2016.
2. The refrigerator stopped working in July 2017, I contacted Customer care of LG on 07-07-2017, 10-07-2017 & 08-08-2017. Afterwards LG service engineer Mr. Jubi turned up and after checking he told that heating plate is not working properly and asked to send the refrigerator to work shop. I sent the refrigerator.
3. After a period of four days the refrigerator was sent back to me with a service bill of Rs. 2768/- which was paid by me ( Copy Enclosed) the work shop incharge told me that after replacement of parts the fridge is tested and it is working fine.
4. On checking the fridge as per there instruction it was found that fridge did not work and the complain remained the same.
5. I made many calls to communicate Mr. Vakil of the failure of there attempt to repair the fridge. Mr. Vakil sent a fellow how told me that fridge has suffered internal wiring fault which cannot be repaired by them. He told me that it was manufacturing defect, and a video of the fault is to be sent to the LG Company and I was assured to get the company observation within three days.
6. I inquired about the company update after watching video and was given excuses by Mr. Vakil. After wards on 30-08-2017 it was informed that the video was rejected by the company office and another video was made by the work shop fellow. Since then I am contacting every concerned for getting fridge repaired for which I am ready to pay. I paid Rs. 2768/- for repairing on 21-08-2017.
7. I have sent several emails to customer care on 23-08-2017, 01-09-2017 and 14-09-2017 which were responded with assurance of assistance and services at all time.
8. Instead of repairing the fridge LG is offering me 15 – 35% discount in purchase of new fridge.
At last I am under the stress of agony as the problem is not resolved and approx three month have passed, I request the council to help me.
