Complaint Details
On 10.10.2017 I was in hurry to book flight tickets from Hyderabad to Bangalore. It was 4pm and I have to book a flight at 8-9 pm. When I opened the app I saw the date as 10 and I assumed the date as 10.10.2017 and chose flight and made the payment for RS. 8600. After I saw the acknowledgement/tickets confirmation mail and message I was surprised by knowing that actually the flight tickets are booked for the date 10.11.2017. I immediately tried to analyze where the mistake happened. I understood that the application has stored my earlier enquiry details for the date 10.11.2017. Unfortunately, long back I have searched flights for the date 10.11.2017. Since both the dates as in, 10 is same I assumed that I'm booking tickets for 10.10.2017. Immediately I called to make my trip customer care and there was no proper response. The executive didn't guide me properly. I didn't understand what to be done and I was running short of time. I have gone through the application and there I found something like "Reschedule" and without wasting any of my time I have selected it and it asked me choose flight and then asked me to pay 11800/-. I thought "ok let me do this thing first and later after landing in Bangalore I can speak with make my trip people ". Immediately after landing in Bangalore I have raised a complaint in make my Trip's portal. After continuous email and telephonic conversation with make my trip executive,today 14.10.2017,he says "I'm sorry madam.. I can't help you in providing any refund". How can I loose RS. 8600 for the mistake of the make my trip application to some extent. When I open make my trip mobile application it should either display current date or No date. Why did the application displayed my earlier enquiry. Only because of this I'm loosing RS. 8600 which I can't afford to loose it. I need refund from make my trip people at any cost.
