Complaint Details
I have Nokia 5230 with IMEI number: 357015048822123 purchased from Nokia priority, Malleswaram, Bangalore on 30-6-2011. Within few days of purchase, my handset started showing problems. It use to get auto switch off after few minutes of usage. For the same reason, I have submitted the phone to nearest Nokia care (Ahmednagar city) repeatedly but problem with my phone was never solved. Every time I took my handset to Ahmednagar Nokia care, only thing they did was formatting of phone and updating software mentioning it was virus attack on phone, but the problem of auto switch off was never solved after updating of software and formatting the phone. Things repeated and I visited Ahmednagar Nokia care many times and unfortunately warranty of my phone was expired. Now phone is dead and lying at my home.

I contacted Nokia call center, contact Nokia India through Nokia website, tried to contact International Nokia on website to let them know the situation of Nokia consumers in India but all my attempts were failure. I have all communications details with me. Recently I have come to know about consumer readdressal and so I am writing you this letter.

I request Ahmednagar Nokia care / Nokia India to fix my phone either by repair or replacement because it was Nokia care technician who never repaired my phone in warranty and problem persisted even after repeated visit to Nokia care wasting my time and expiring my handset warranty period.
