Complaint Details
I purchased Google Pixel XL 32GB on 30th October 2017 and was delivered on 31st October 2017. I noticed a crack on the back glass of the phone and tried contacting Flipkart but they did not respond. ,On 4th November 2017 I finally got through and asked for a replacement and was promised the same by 8th November 2017. On 7th November I received a message saying return is approved and refund will be provided. I called to cancel the return and again asked for a replacement. This time I was promised it'll be done by 10th November 2017. Again on 9th November I received a message confirming a return. I asked for a replacement since the beginning and it's mentioned in the seller's policy that within 10 days a replacement is available if defective piece was delivered. They failed to do so and put me through extreme stress and behaved rudely with me. The price of the item is now ₹44990 currently but I bought it for ₹37762. They are cheating me as the product is priced higher and therefore rejecting my replacement. This is a breach of policy and clearly cheating a consumer. I request immediate action be taken against Flipkart and their seller Omnitech Retail for causing me financial and mental distress.
