I checked in with Jet airways at around 6:30 AM for my flight 9W 7128 to Guwahati
scheduled for 8:30 AM . I had checked in way in advance considering delays due to weather and other reasons. As I checked in, was informed the flight is rescheduled to depart at 9:30 AM which meantvit would land at Guwahati at around 10:40 AM and I had a connecting flight from Guwahati at 12:35 PM for Jorhat 9W 903. At around 7 AM it was flashed on the departurescreen that the flight was rescheduled yet again for 11:45 AM from Guwahati which meant I would miss the connecting flight. I had no information from the airlines. When I contacted the staff there they spoke to one Mr. Mark or someone whose name I couldn't make out. I was made to understand that the flight 9W 903 how's to Jorhat From Kolkata via Guwahati and they would accommodate me on the same. But then they informed they couldn't provide us the connection.on protesting and telling them there was an Air India and Indigo flight shortly for Guwahati they put me on Air India flight. On reaching Guwahati collecting my baggage and rushing back for a fresh check in for Guwahati making way through the security I finally caught my flight to Guwahati that is 9w 903. On board I inquired from cabin crew and fellow passengers who were stranded just like me at Kolkata I got to know they were accommodated on the same 9W903 flight from kolkata and there were further empty seats from kolkata. Why was this discriminatory behaviour towards me. Even I had paid a full fare and not was flying at Mercy. Moreover there is a DGCA guidelines to provide refreshments is the flight is delayed beyond 2 hours. Is Jet Airways not under the purview of DGCA or it discriminates in everything.
