Complaint Details
My mail id had been hacked by an unknown person from an IP address at Delhi. Fraudster had also obtained access to my credit card numbers. He had fraudulently initiated payment transactions and SBI Card had released the OTP both by SMS to my mobile as well as to my email id. While I had blocked the reported card on receiving the SMS about the suspicious nature of this transaction, the fraudster had made use of the OTP conveyed in my email account and effected the transaction. The communication of OTP in my email account is an unauthorized act of SBI Card and not approved by me. This compromises my safety and security. Hence the unlawful charge to my credit card for the two transactions totaling to Rs.19,999 (Rs.9,999 and Rs.10,000) reflected in my statement should be set aside.
