Complaint Details
Based on HMart4 TV Channel Commercial advertisement of Telebrand HBN 'V Cloud Steamer'with some free-bees for Rs.1726.85,I placed the Order No.R0156638 on 19.12.17 and paid through net banking.On 22.12.17,however,I received a DEFECTIVE 'Cloud Steamer' which was not the item shown on TV for which the order was placed.I submitted my Complaint for the wrong & defective item and returned the same through Courier.The replacement sent to me was the same 'Cloud Steamer'and not the 'V Cloud Steamer'.This was also found non-functional.The Customer Support staff simply said that V Cloud Steamers are NOT in stock,and,that I should again sent the item back,at my cost,and they will issue Credit Voucher to be redeemed at their outlets only for Rs.1300-ie my amount less GST.This was not acceptable.HBN Network is playing a FRAUD on the public by showing FALSE and MISLEADING advertisements for Sub-Standard products and REFUSING proper REPLACEMENTS or REFUNDS as warranted.This is an UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICE.
