On 1/3/18, i boarded AV Volvo Bus from Chembur Maitri Park to Swargate Pune bus no. MH06 S 9763.at 11.50 am. Before Boarding, i took advance booking for return journey for sellf and wife. i filled up reservation form with full details including my mobile number. i was issued journey cum reservation ticket PNEMOOO6751 dated 4/3/18 17:15 hrs. ticket no. is 31879683 and printed serial number of the ticket is H 0310037 seat number 17A AND 18A amount paid is rs. 882/- i.e. 430/- each.
on 4/3/18 when we boarded the bus and the conductor came to check the ticket, i found that the original ticket was misplaced and i could not immediately locate it. i however showed the conductor mobile photo of the ticket which i had taken as a precaution and also informed the conductor that i had booked ticket in advance at chembur maitri park bus stand. despite this they did not check with the records or from the computer reservation data and told me to pay for the ticket again. as the bus was about to leave, i did not want other passengers to be delayed and hence i reluctantly paid again for the same ticket. the new ticket issued to me was also for the same seat number i.e. 17A and 18A
when i reached home, i found the original ticket which was in one envelope inside the suitcase.
my grievance is that when MSRTC has centralised computer system, why the concerned officialls are not checking the authenticity and veracity of the ticket shown on my mobile as well as by confirming from my mobile number and identity card? when the reservatiion system is computerised and i have given my mobile number in the reservation form, why MSRTC is not sending confirmation by sms?
suppose ticket is booked by online system and confirmation is sent by MSRTC on mobile phone, if this message is accidentally deleted on the mobile, will the passenger be made to buy ticket again?
I THEREFORE REQUEST FOR REFUND OF THE AMOUNT OF RS. 882/- COLLECTED TWICE FROM ME FOR THE SAME ORIGINAL TICKET.
I CAN PRODUCE ALL ORIGINAL TICKETS FOR YOUR SATISFACTION
