Complaint Details
i had following issues in my claim for vechile TN10AK2229. policy number VPC0819051000100

issue 1:manipulated my claim form:

my claim form is manipulated in favour of insurance company . i also attached modified application which was shared to me by pavithra workshop after insurance surveyor visit .

I mentioned accident happened on 03/02/2018 on date of accident 3.a in their claim form.

In description i had written that incident 1: on 15/01/2018 a stone from proceeding truck hit my windscreen glass and damaged my wind screen .

Incident 2: on 03/02/2018 i was taking left from a four way junction in a narrow road connecting arcot road and maduraivoyal ,forward going bike suddenly applied brake because of cow entry . i hit the bike and stopped my car . at the instant right side part was hit by an auto , a two wheeler .

issue 2 :delay

i informed to start claim in toll free number on 08/02/2018. surveyor inspected my vehicle on 12/02/2018 . but he kept the claim in hold for more than a week saying that he and his company dont have the photograph of my vehicle which was taken at the time of pre inspection done to my car at the time before issuing the insurance .

i personally followed and traced the insurance agent and got the number of inspector, asked him to share the photos he had in his hard disk. this photos and documents should be maintained at insurance company for the easy access for the surveyors.

issue 3: forced /blackmailed me
on 20/02/2018 after 1 week of inspection , surveyor called me and offered to settle only 2500 INR for 20000(approx) estimated by pavithra workshop. later after heavy arguments , he consulted with his higher official and gave a final offer of the amount which i paid for the insurance . and in condition that i have to give a detailed description letter as their statement , invoice should be done to the amount as per repair assessment order.

issue 4: i paid the difference of amount
i paid total of 16500 for pavithra workshop , i got only 10685 in total from insurance

issue 5:my claim not considered

claim for windscreen glass is not considered by the insurance company. for fitting new windscreen glass i have to pay more 5000( approx )

issue 5: settlement is not as per their order

as per their repair assessment order they approved to pay labour charge of 10650, front bumper grill for 50%. it costs 1600. but the paid only 10685.

i had attached all the related documents which i have. original invoices, estimates have surrendered to insurance company.

as they guaranteed bumper to bumper 100% claim for plastic and glass i paid 1650. or else normal insurance charges only 5000
