Complaint Details
My father passed away in November 2016 and therefore I had to remove his name from a joint account held at chakala SBI bank. I have visited the bank about 8 times and had submitted the required documents twice and yet the name had not been changed up till this week in 2018. I have had to deal with the deputy bank manager S S Bokil on every occasion without getting any help inspite of being cooperative from my end. Every time I visited the bank I was asked to come again in a week or so because the bank could not get my work done from their end. I was already mourning the loss of my father and the bank showed no sympathy towards this fact to either me or my widowed mother.Today finally I was frustrated to the point that I decided to close my account with the bank after my mother was insulted by Mr Bokil and made to move from her seat for no reason at all. I have been harrassed in many ways than I can mention for more than a year to get a simple task completed by the bank.
