Complaint Details
On Oct 31, 2017, I ordered 4 items through this website. It took some time to be delivered and when I enquired about it over phone, they said that no delivery date was promised while placing order and only the shipping date. The customer service person also said that I need not worry and the item is on the way. About a month later, 3 items out of it was delivered except a wooden knife stand with the cost of Rs 899/-. I was pregnant back then, soon after got busy with childbirth and parenting. A few days back I remembered that I have still not received the item, I checked the status online and it still said "in-transit". I wrote a email to the customer service and asked them about it. Initially they denied even looking into the matter as its past a few month, but when I told them that there was no such thing notified to me about when I placed the order, they started looking into it. Now, they have found that it was a mistake from their end and even apologised for it. But they are not willing to do the full refund for the item which is Rs 899/- to my credit card through which I had made the payment. Instead, they have offered me a gift voucher of Rs 500/- which I never agreed for. I have asked them to do full refund and now they have stopped responding to my queries. Kindly help me with it as I do not see a reason why I should let go of my hard earned money for a mistake they made. I have attached a snapshot of the order item.
