Complaint Details
I had booked a room at Evergreen Two Bedroom Apartment Vasant Kunj New Delhi, check in : 11th April 2018, check out : 15th April 2018, and the same was paid through my credit card, I have an appointment at ILBS New Delhi Liver Hospital, I am travelling for a medical emergency and had booked this apartment from the renowned travel portal Make My trip at 11:43pm, I called the call centre and was confirmed that the booking is confirmed and later when I reached the apartment the manager told its sold out since morning and they had not received any confirmation mail from Make mytrip India, Later Again I called the call centre then they were unable to provide me an alternate property and informed me that I will be receiving a call from there higher authorities, I received a call from Mr Sahil Arora, who confirmed he is a part of the Management and told me to look for a property near by on my own for this they will reimburse the same, later when I found out a property similar room type which is two bedroom apartment as the patient and other family members cannot sleep in the same room due to chances of infection. Again Mr Sahil Called and confirmed that he can accomodate us at Andaz A Hyatt Property in aerocity which is also near the hospital, I said please arrange to provide 2 Bedroom apartment in the same hotel, for which I called the Hotel and confirmed the availability and was confirmed that rooms are available, then Mr Sahil told to allow him 15-20 mins to confirm the same and after 30mins he calls after receiving reminder messages from me and stating that sorry we can accommodate you now anywhere and we can give a compensation of Rs 10,000/-. So now I want to know should I stay at the road at 2am Midnight with a patient in critical state after booking the same through a such reputed portal, I have been hearing about the complaints from other consumers regarding makemytrip but ignored everytime, but today after been facing the same I agree others must have faced it. I strongly want that strict action should be taken against them for harassing consumers, attaching call recordings and vouchers
