Dear Sir,
Since it was my first usage we did NOT inform the restaurant before the order. Though we did while leaving . Yes , the restaurant did not Honour Zomato GOLD(?) .
We were Billed illegally Service Chrge of 10pct which was pathetic for starters!.
As reported in The Times of India, “The restaurant has no legal right to mention service charge at 10% of the bill. It is the discretion of the customer to pay the amount if he likes the services.”
Hence I'm not disputing that the Offer Procedure was NOT followed . Though we will File a complaint with Legal Damages against the Restaurant , at the same time the Manager Threatened to Call the Cops if we didn't pay , didn't give the owner's cell number land line number and just scribbled his name.
It's shocking that restaurant's in India can fall to such levels and it's a Pity Zomato to losse it's golden sheen with such affiliations.
Do note zomato will be included in the Case.
