Complaint Details
Myself and my wife had come across an unfair trade practice adopted by "People" store dealing in clothing business. They are not allowing return of one of the girls top costing Rs.1299/- which was actually not bought but billed and the same could not get traced as the carry bag containing total 11 items was sent directly to the exit gate from where my wife had collected and returned home in hurry. Later we found that one article which was not shortlisted was also billed. When the next day we again went to return the same, the vendor told that no return will be given and you can only replace the same. With no option left we had forcibly replaced three articles including the one which was wrongly billed and bought two other articles, cost of which fell short by Rs.30/-. Finally when I asked about the bill he did not provided the same for fresh two articles and ultimately we had paid Rs.30/- without any purchase and was forced to replace only I. E. Without refund / return even for the product which was wrongly billed by the vendor itself and fresh bill is also not made available to us.
