Complaint Details
I am an unsatisfied customer of Tikona and I requested for closure procedure of the connection through e-mail on 07/08/2017 and subsequently the connection was terminated. The last bill I paid was of Rs 268/- (BAN: 132881522, Payment ID: 1-4859503082 , Transaction ID: 1121065479TPC080817194114) paid on 08/08/2017. Later on 28/09/2017, I received another bill with an amount of Rs -118/- which I ignored as it was in negative figure and I did not claim for it. Please find the bill attached here with this email.
Almost after a year on 7/05/2018, I received a legal notice from the email id legalcolls@tikona.in asking me to pay an amount of 1422/- towards the unsettled bill and Rs 1500/- towards the fine for failing to submit the modem. I ignored the legal notice because I was sure that there was nothing pending from my side.
On 12/06/2018, I received a call from someone pretending to be Adv. Sonam Singh from the number 09560086043 and asked me to pay an amount of Rs 1600/- + and threatened that if not payed I will have to face legal issues (like have to run a civil or criminal case, block my degree certificates, drag me to delhi, etc.) My mistake was that I was in middle of something important and I was in no mood to quarrel with her so I couldn't check back my old bills and transactions. She told me that I need to pay the bill by 3:30 pm on 12/06/2018 so as to avoid legal formalities.
Out of haste and the confusion that so called Adv.Sonam had made, I paid an amount of Rs. 1700/- on 12/06/2018 (Bill no:BAN: 132881522, Payment ID: 1-5289155978 , Transaction ID: 1121065479PAYU120618151957 ) .
Now when I am checking my old bills and transactions, I find that Tikona has to pay me back Rs 118/- which i din't claim as per Bill number TN0917B000069611 and as there is no bill to be settled as per my knowledge, Rs 1700/- that I had paid extra on 12/06/2018. It was a multiple user modem which had connections for me and other tikona customers in the same building and hence Rs 1500/- against the fine may not stand.
I request you to do the needful and get me justice. Along with this I request to take action against the user of the number 09560086043 for threatening and offence to impersonate a lawyer, if not
