Hi Sir/Madame,
This is in reference to shipment via Agarwal Packers and movers - G.C. : 4604767 , shipment from Kolkata - Gurgaon.
The date of booking the shipment from Kolkata is : 27/05/2018
I received the same in Gurgaon on : 12/06/2018
The LG 32" LED TV was found broken and there was a crack on the entire LED panel.
I have opted for 3% F.O.V (All Risks) during initial booking of the shipment.
Now, as per policy since I had opted for the cover, I should get insurance on the TV damage and repair cose.
I asked them innumberable time to settle for a replacement or repair , but they are trying to settle with Rs 6000/ (Intially they said Rs 4000)
I got an official quote from LG customer care which was around Rs 12000/ to fix the TV, I have also send them a copy of the same.
Yet they are not agreeing to pay this amount and settling for Rs 6000/
This is an intense harrasement for me, since I have paid total 25500/ for shipment of products worth approx Rs 60000/. Out of that, the TV itself cost around Rs 22000 and I also paid extra premiuim for full carieer insurance. Now the Rs 6000 they are settling for is not sufficient to fix the TV and I cannot afford to pay more for the same.
Since I paid the premium , its not my fault that the TV was broken during shipment , hence Agarwal Packers and Movers should cover this cost. I shouldnt loose money on such poor service for their mistake in shipment. Please help me with the situaution. Shall be grateful.
