Complaint Details
I was checking travel tickets and reached the booking screen of their App to check the convenience fees.To my surprise, within 30 secs my HDFC credit card got debited with 12,369 INR. When I raised the concern, I was told that the bank has authorized Ecommerce app to auto read and post the OTP details for my saved card there and I had time to cancel it within 3 seconds. I did not select to pay, I never entered my card CVV number so not sure how did they get away with the payment. Bank never took my approval to activate this feature for the Ecommerce site, this is a clear misuse of technology and now none of them are ready to resolve this.
