Purchase Date : 23 September 2017

Dealer: Landmark Modular Kitchen, A-369 Kalkaji, New Delhi - 110019.
Invoice: M/s Siddhimab Interior Decorators (Address: E-960 Chitranjan Park, New Delhi.)

This Elica cooking range unit has been giving trouble within days of installation.
From the first day, the oven of the cooking range has not been firing.
I complained to the Dealer and later to the Service Centre many times -- that this faulty unit should be REPLACED IMMEDIATELY.
But the dealer, instead of forwarding the complaint or asking us to do so, to the company, kept sending the same person who had installed it -- who didn't have clue.

After more than a month, we finally contacted Elica Customer Care -- who did not replace but only sent a technician to repair.
He found the ignition wire disconnected -- proving NO QUALITY CONTROL CHECK by the company before delivery.

After many repairs, the bottom flame of the oven got working.
But the top flame of the oven was still not working.

Since January 2018, everytime I complain to the Elica Customer Care, the service manager Mr Harinder Malik sent a technician, saying it was a MINOR PROBLEM.

Selling a defective cooking range is a MINOR PROBLEM?
Failing to repair fully is a MINOR PROBLEM?

I am giving full list of my complaints:

1. Cooking Range not installed by company engineer -- but by dealer's repairman.
2. Both burners of oven section -- top and bottom -- not firing properly.
3. Dealer sent repairman 4 times to my complaints.

4. After 2 months, technician came from Service Centre.
5. But Top burner of oven section did not fire.
6. Service engineer found 2 problems: Wire not connected, and one part (sensor) faulty.
7. Faulty part repaired in January 2018 -- after 3 months of purchase.

8. Steel body of cooking range OVERHEATING as there is NO STEEL WOOL PADDING in between.

9. On January 29, Rubber Gasket of the oven section breaks -- and was hanging loose.
10. Rubber gasket repaired in February 2018 but oven's bottom flaming unit not firing properly.

11. June 2018 -- again complain to Elica Customer Care for oven's TOP flaming unit. Technician comes and says it is working.
Within a week, again oven's TOP flaming unit not working.
12. On 06 July 2018, I (user ID Abhisharj) wrote to Indian Consumer Complaints Forum on their website, who replied the complaint has been forwarded to Elica PB India Pvt Ltd Customer Service.
Same day Elica Service Manager called saying the cooking range will be repaired WITH NO MORE COMPLAINTS by a Senior Supervisor.
This repair was carried out next week.
13. But ONCE AGAIN BOTH THE BURNERS NOT FIRING AGAIN.

All this proves that this ELICA Cooking Range unit is NOT a quality product, and must be REPLACED at once.

Elica must also compensate us for the harassment caused.
