Respected Sir/Madam,

I had booked a flat in Puraniks Rumah Bali on 13th May 2018 by paying an amount of RS.67000/- (attached receipt of the same)
Total flat cost - 67 lacs
Total booking amount 1% - 67000

I was told this 1% is going towards TDS for the purchase (attached cost sheet for your reference and the whatsapp chat with the sales representative who said it was for TDS)

For this house booking i even paid HDFC (Puraniks partner bank) Rs 8000 for processing a loan approval for the said flat

Due to some emergency at home in June, i was unable to collect money for stamp duty so they connected me to Aditya birla home capital who can loan me money for the same at 0% interest for 1 yr

But after doing all calculations, i know i will not be able to go ahead with this booking
My CIBIL score is 830 and i haven't defaulted any loans or credit cards
I am an honest citizen paying my taxes on time

And some un-forseen future expenses have now left me incapable to go ahead with this booking, because i dont want to default any loans in future either

So i requested the builder to refund me the money paid for TDS against purchase and since the purchase is now happening its now no more applicable

I even told them that i am ready to bear a penalty of 10% for their efforts in last 3 months so they can deduct Rs.6700/- and refund the remainder 90% to me

But the client service executive deepika more is adamant that they will not refund the entire amount and i can do whatever i want
She even claimed that the consumer court will also not help me in this

So i am knocking on your door to restore faith in justice and in our government that these kind of frauds and cheating will not be successful
That an honest comman man paying taxes will not be burdened or harressed like this just because i am trying to be reasonable and not become defaulter in future

I work with Zee TV, a reputable firm; trying to bring up my daughter with all burdens of taxes,traffic travel cost and the like, trying to build just one home in this ever inflating property business for a roof on my daughters head but getting cheated like this
And i look upon the consumer court to help me to atleast get back what is mine
